Overview
The Rotary Club of Kalimpong has been celebrating Independence Day by distributing orange juice free of cost to the public — a tradition that has become one of the Club’s signature humanitarian projects. On 15th August 2025, the Club continued this noble initiative, serving over 4,000 cups of orange juice and 22 jars of water to the general public. This year Interactors from Dr. Graham’s Homes, St. Augustine’s School, Rockvale Academy, and Army Public School, joined hands with children and spouses of Rotary members in distribution. On a hot Independence Day, this refreshing gesture was warmly received by the public who expressed heartfelt appreciation. Blessings and words of encouragement were showered upon the Interactors for their selfless service. The entire project was made possible through the generous contributions of Rotary members. The Rotary Club of Kalimpong remains committed to its motto of “Service Above Self”, and again reflected its’s dedication to community welfare.
