The 9th Board Meeting was held on 14 March 26 at the Rotary Centre at 5.30 PM. President Rtn Col AK Gogoi presided over the meeting. 20 members attended the meeting. A report on the Agro-Vet camp held at Naya Busty Kumai was given by Cdr Dilram Gurung. A talk on wildlife awareness by Dr. Deepak Sharma of ARD Department Kalimpong was informative to all the participants, specially to the villgers living next to the Wildlife Sanctury, SSB personnels and forest department officials. The House was informed that the Police Department of Kalimpong held a training program of the police officials at the Rotary Centre on 14th morning from 10.00 AM to 3.30 PM. The House discussed DGs forthcoming OCV and preparation of the Centre for the visit. PP Mukesh Changia updated the House on PHF and MPHF and 50:50 RI Recognition Award challenge. Dr. Dipti Tamangof Pedong College was invited as a guest speaker. She spoke on culture and identity in the Darjeeling Hills.
